  I've experienced the monthly gathering of the Pasadena Martine Cotillion at the Pasadena Hilton twice. I was a hotel guest. They apparently meet there once a month. Seemingly, hundreds of children dressed in fancy attire arrive with their parents nearby. Cotillion is not a lecture, but rather, a party - a party that is led by skilled directors who continually keep the children focused on the importance of whatever they are doing. They learn "manners". But this "Cotillion" is mostly noisey brats with no manners that run amuck while their alcoholic mothers sit at the bar. They are loud. Their behavior is atrocious. They terrorize the hotel guests. They use the hotel furniture as jungle gyms. I've never experienced such bad behavior. The people that organize this should be ashamed of themselves.
