  This insurance company handles all of their financial transactions through Top Premium Finance. They do not take money directly. After 4 or 5 issues with Top Premium Finance losing our payments or posting them late after they had been deducted on time from my bank account, a representative said they weren't using Top Premium Finance again. Whenever Top Premium Finance processes a payment late, they send Contractor's Choice a cancellation notice for the account, so it's a lot of work to prove every time that Top Premium Finance screwed up. I did that every time, and provided documents and bank dates and transaction numbers. The last time it happened through my husband's account, the same representative called him while he was at work stating that we had been late too many times and they weren't renewing the policy. My husband asked him to please call him later because he was working with a chainsaw and it was very dangerous. The representative called back moments later to harass my husband during a life threatening situation at work. Clearly, they have no idea who their customer base is (being independent contractors and working with dangerous tools), and the representative insisted we were to blame for everything and had not paid several payments in full. Keep in mind all of this had already been handled politely months earlier with the same representative and Top Premium Finance was to blame per the representative. We were told in the phone call where Top Premium Finance was to blame that we should go ahead and pay the rest of the policy in full, and we don't have that kind of money. Very disappointing with this Dr. Jeykll Mr. Hyde routine.
